The Creative House

We went to Cape Town on Friday until Saturday. We were driving and walking through the town looking for a house and we found it. It is perfect. As far as we can tell from the outside.

At Chuchsquare. It has been empty for years now, as the neighbor told us. Only after we decided this is it, Sven pointed out the name: Creative House. It could as well had written our names on it.

It used to be an or the orphan chamber of the Cape. Built in the 1930s. We found out that developers planned to top it up with apartements. This was 2003 and nothing has happened since.

It is hard to believe that this huge and beautiful space located at a prime spot has been empty for such a long time. Can’t stop thinking about all the possibilities. I want to move in tomorrow!
